  10. This patchfile implements fixes to CleanSweep 1.0, dated 11-08-94.  The
  11. date on the CLNSWEEP.EXE file in your CleanSweep directory (typically
  12. C:\CLNSWEEP) should be 11-08-94 ONLY.  If the date on this file is later
  13. than 11-08-94, do not attempt to apply this patch.  The patch will
  14. update CleanSweep to the version dated 1-20-95.

  16. This patch should be applied this way:
  17.  
  18. 1) Copy the files which accompany this README:  RUNME.BAT, PATCH.EX_,
  19.    FILES.RTP, and CLN1.PAT into your CleanSweep directory.
  20.  
  21. 2) Change to the CleanSweep directory and type:
  22.  
  23.    RUNME
  24.  
  25.    followed by the Enter key.
  26.  
  27. After the patch has been successfully applied, you may delete the
  28. following files (if any still exist) from your CleanSweep directory:

  30. RUNME.BAT, PATCH.EXE, and FILES.RTP
  31.  
  32.  
  33.           CHANGES SINCE THE 11-08-94 RELEASE OF CLEANSWEEP
  34.  
  35. The following are the significant changes in the version of CleanSweep
  36. dated 1-20-95.
  37.  
  38. 1) Older versions of THREED.VBX, a library responsible for displaying
  39.    Windows controls, could cause CleanSweep to fail to display properly.
  40.    This file is included with utilities for the Hewlett-Packard LaserJet
  41.    IV printers.  In this case, CleanSweep would seem to be running, but
  42.    the user would be unable to switch to it.
  43.  
  44. 2) General Protection Faults associated with CSAGENT, the CleanSweep
  45.    SuperLinks module, have been fixed.  This resolves GPFs that users
  46.    may have seen when AutoSuperLinks was enabled, or when the user chose
  47.    "Update Now" from the SuperLinks dialog box.
  48.  
  49. 3) CleanSweep will no longer display the first two months of the year as
  50.    "Sunday" and "Monday" in the activity log.
  51.  
  52. 4) An incompatibility with the file security program Folder Bolt has
  53.    been resolved.
  54.  
  55. 5) CleanSweep's Helper Technology is supported by a data file.  The name
  56.    of this file, formerly known as HELPER.DAT, has been changed to
  57.    CLNSWEEP.CFG.
  58.
